Mark, thank you for your thoughts, always appreciated and valued. Platforms are still only the ‘connecting tool’, far better for collaborating through IF they stay open and encourage creation. Whatever tool we use we still have to have a fairly good idea or thought on where to dig or explore and as you rightly say: “often (in) unexpected and unconnected ways”.

On the other hand, however, I am afraid such a platform would probably set its focus too narrowly. As we both know, an important part of innovation is connecting the ‘seemingly unconnected.’ It’s about bringing together ideas, concepts and experiences from diverse fields in new and often unexpected ways. Bringing together writings about ‘innovation’ isn’t that difficult, curating the ‘seemingly unconnected’ is. I wonder what your take on this is.
