Unless mindset, insight, alignment and actions changes this way - first of all in boardrooms - companies have a hard time being sustainably innovative. No matter what initiatives are pursued and which tools or frameworks are used. Mandatory vision, strategy, org design, culture and boundary conditions for the entire organization have to be defined from the top appropriately.

It&#039;s the very basic premises that need to be put in order first. Balanced innovation capability is first and foremost a leadership issue, requiring an integrative, ambidextrous mindset to handle inherent tensions and trade-offs.]]></description>
